Welcome to Checklog.in

We developed this security program in response to multiple attempts to hack our Wordpress websites, some of which were successful. We discovered that because Wordpress is so widely available, your site is constantly under attack from automated bots that are trying to access your admin panel or other vunerable areas of the Wordpress program.

With the simple installation of our Wordpress plugin, we can detect and block unauthorised access to your Wordpress admin area. This gives you peace of mind that no-one is changing your site while you sleep. Only when you try to access these areas will you have the ability to Whitelist your IP address via an email sent to you alone.

If we suspect an IP address of unauthorised attempts to access your site or any other site that we monitor, we will add that IP to our blacklist, denying them access to all sites in the future without you worrying about it or getting constant emails each time they try to access. We find that once we have blacked an IP address, they soon give up trying and move on to someone else.

We will constantly keep you updated if we change our program but because you are accessing a central database, the latest blacklisted IP addresses will automatically be available to your website when the hackers come visting, so you are sure to be up to date when using our system.

Don't worry about additional loading times on your site as each visitor is checked only once and then the results are stored in a session variable so no more calls to the remote database are required.

How It Works

1 Contact Us and sign up for your free 1 month trial
You tell us the domain names you want to protect.
(normal fee is £10 per year).

2 Install the "checklogin" plugin from the central Wordpress repository. Just click on Plugins > Add New > Search and enter checklogin to find us.

3 When you visit your own admin login for your website (either a custom site or Wordpress), your IP address will be checked in our database. If it's a new IP address, you will receive an email prompting you to verify the address before continuing. This stops unwanted users and bots from accessing your login scripts.

4 If we suspect an IP address is attempting to force an unauthorised login, we will blacklist that IP address and they will be denied access to the login section of your site and all others using the Checklog.in security.

5 All other pages on your Wordpress site (i.e not the login page) will also be checked for each visitor. If they are on our blacklist, they will not be allowed to visit your site and will be directed to a wanring page.
